Big companies follow you from site-to-site in many ways. Then they choke your bandwidth with ads you don’t wanna see. They even pay special advertising groups (aka "web-trackers") to figure out what YOU are doing online so they can guess what you want to buy—or how to make you buy something, whether you want it or not. They record your "web footprints" and gather personal information about you from the internet.
Then they sell the "data" they collect to companies who use it to target you with ads while you're browsing the web.
"Wait a second," you might say. "Their data? NO WAY! It’s MY data online! And my screen is MINE—so shouldn't I be able to control what gets placed there?"
Exactly our point. At admine, we don't think it's fair for online advertisers to profit from gathering and selling YOUR web habits. Their methods distract you, cost you time, money, and the security of your data. So you're actually paying your internet provider to let advertisers invade you.
It's time to take back your screen!
Sometimes about half of your screen gets taken over to show ads. This varies a lot by site. But if you’re like most people, you bought your computer, your internet connection, etc., costing at least $2000 a year. If anyone had asked you, would you have forked over your money to see all that junk?
Here at admine, we believe that you're the only one who knows what your true interests are. Web-tracking technologies can't replace your choice.
That's where admine comes in. We created our own web technology—the software plugin—that prevents invasive advertising from ever reaching you.
AND... we created a way for you to tell advertisers what you're interested in . By creating an admine account, and setting your interests, you get direct access to special deals, events, and promotions for stuff you actually want (like your favorite products and stores)—right from your admine account!
Oh—and did we mention — you get paid when clicking on ads? So some of that money, which used to go to web-trackers gets directed back to you where it really belongs.
